Introverted Solution for Career, Life & The Future
Through my business and this space, I aim to create a venture that supports introverted Black women while fostering a community where we can connect, grow, and chase our dreams. I understand this isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. However, it's a start. Because, we have to start somewhere, right? I didn’t realize how prevalent this issue is among us and the challenges it imposes in navigating the world, our careers, and pursuing our dreams. Isn’t it fascinating that despite its prevalence, traditional workspaces still do not support Black women and other women of color in understanding our varying personalities? Other demographics are quicker to acknowledge different personality types among their peers, so why is it so different for Black women? With us, it’s assumed we should be “performing” or “managing the feelings of others around us.” And if we aren’t, we face projections and judgments.
